Bridal Showers are becoming more and more detailed and complex… almost like mini weddings. So I was so excited when asked to plan and be a part of a bridal shower for Laura Engel.
There are so many themes to choose from but Laura’s bridesmaids wanted a theme that was different and a reflection of the bride to be. I began with constructing a questionnaire for the bride to be.
Here are some of the questions that I asked…
Favorite color: Yellow
Favorite food: Pizza or anything Italian
Favorite flowers: sunflowers
Favorite dessert: Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting
Favorite drink: Anything with champagne 
With all of these questions and more we came up with an “Under the Tuscan Sun” theme for Laura’s Bridal Shower.
The Bridal Shower was held at the residence of one of her bridesmaids. When the guests arrived they walked down a pathway of sunflowers which led them to the backyard. The guests sipped on peach bellinis while listening to the great Frank Sinatra. They then continued with an italian lunch followed by bridal shower activities. Dessert was delicious red velvet cupcakes from Joeleen of A Sweet Design. Did you notice the sunflower design?
