Lighting adds so much glamor and ambiance to an event. It can take the most simplistic event and turn it into to an enchanting affair.
Here are some ways to personalize your wedding or event with lighting.
Pin Spots: A pin spot is a light, focused very tightly on a small area, that can project a straight beam up to 100 feet. It can provide lighting for tabletops, cake tables and props.
Gobos: “A gobo is a template or pattern cut into a circular plate used to create patterns of projected light”. Wikipedia They come in all sorts of patterns, leaves, water ripples, window frames, not to mention your own custom designs. The gobo image becomes enlarged when it is thrown onto a wall, ceiling or dance floor.
Uplights: The lights are pointed UP so the corresponding beams of light highlight the wall and shoot towards the ceiling. The effect can be quite dramatic and can help define a space and add color and dimension to an area. These lights can be one color or interchangeable throughout your span of your event. For example, you can begin your reception with a purple uplight. During the meal change it to blue and during your dancing change it to red. Or the lighting can continuously change throughout the night.
Lanterns and bulbs: These can be strung from lights above your ceremony and or reception. They provide a beautiful atmosphere to any wedding or event.
Lightened tables/benches: They are battery powered, radio controlled, LED lighting units that create limitless options such as: changing colors, rotating between different colors and mixing colors. They can also produce a variety of cool lighting effects in standard or custom designs.
